Geraldine Emery, 75, of Fall River, fiancé of Timothy Temple and wife of the late Floyd George Emery, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2002 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antone C. Vieira and the late Hortense P. (Medeiros) Vieira. Prior to her retirement she worked as a dietary aide in a local nursing home for many years. She loved cooking, baking, knitting, and crocheting. Geraldine also enjoyed camping throughout the United States, dancing, going on cruises, and trips to Florida.

Besides her fiancé of twenty-four years, she leaves her sister, Judith Ferreira, of Fall River; two grandchildren, Kayla and Cole Emery; Tim's son, Michael (wife, Becky) Temple and their children, Abby, Thomas, and Ben Temple; along with many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Tracey Lee Emery.

Her Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 15th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
