Gertrude R. (Tamborella) Berryman passed away in Fall River on Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was in her 88th year. A lifelong resident of this city, she was the widow of Kenneth A. Berryman. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Albert Tamborella and the late Lena (Cetola) Tamborella. A graduate of the B.M.C. Durfee High School Class of 1946, she was employed for many years as a winder at Norbut Manufacturing Co and was also a cafeteria worker in the Fall River Public Schools for several years. Gertrude was a communicant of St. Bernadette Church in Fall River and was also a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church for many years. Surviving family members include her son, Kenneth M. A. Berryman of Fall River, a brother, Michael Tamborella of Weymouth, MA, a grandson, Kenneth M. Berryman of Somerset, two great grandchildren, Ava Berryman and Morgan Berryman, both of Somerset, and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, July 22nd, in St. Bernadette Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
