Gertrude C. Eliasen, 85, of Swansea, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, the result of injuries sustained in a car accident.  Born in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Edward Eliasen and the late Elizabeth B. (Tuttle) Eliasen, she lived in Fall River most of her life.

Prior to her retirement some years ago, she was employed as a dispatcher with the Fall River Police Department for many years. "Trudy" loved knitting and enjoyed friend and family gatherings, especially with the Machado family at Christmas time.

She is survived by her niece, Lorrie Prior of Swansea; and was also the mother of the late Robert Eliasen.

According to her wishes, funeral arrangements were private.
