Gertrude Yvonne (Paquette) Kupiec, 76, of Westport and formerly of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River.

She was the beloved wife of Stanley Kupiec, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, Gertrude was the daughter of the late Bernard and Evangeline (Beaupre) Paquette. She was a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University and an elementary school teacher in Fall River for more than 30 years. Gertrude was a lifelong communicant of the Holy Name Parish in Fall River.

Gert enjoyed painting, the beach, and most especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Besides her husband Stan, Gert is survived by her sons, Kyle Kupiec and his wife Janel of Dartmouth, Kraig Kupiec and his wife Melissa of Lakeville and Kris Kupiec and his wife Kristen of Westport; grandchildren, Zoe Kupiec, Reese Kupiec, Maya Kupiec, Kaleb Kupiec, and Chloe Kupiec.

Gert's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 31st in Holy Name Church at 10:00am
