Gilbert "Gibby" Kazen, 68, of Swansea died Tuesday after a short illness. Husband of Joanne (Raposa) Kazen. Born in Fall River, son of the late Louis and Fannie (Medeiros) Kazen. Owner and manager of the former S&K Auto Sales in Fall River. Served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He was father of Louis Kazen, Joseph Kazen and Karen Paquette all of Westport, Michael Wallace and Dawn Wallace both of Swansea, Judith Smith, Michelle Ventura and Kim Carreiro all of Fall River, and the late David Kazen, brother of Louis Kazen, Candice Kazen, and Bernadette Huck all of Swansea, and the late Maurice Kazen and William "Sonny" Kazen, nephew of Cora Raposa and Billie Kielor both of Swansea, former husband of Florence (Camara) Kazen of Fall River. Also leaves five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his loyal dog Blue. His funeral arrangements were private.
