Gilda Cabral, 92, of Fall River, widow of Alvaro S. Cabral, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Jose A. and Eulalia (Pereira) Cabral. Gilda enjoyed going on her daily walks, shopping for clothes, and dining out. She leaves her niece, Shirley Carreiro of Westport and four grand-nephews: Gary Carreiro, Kevin Carreiro, Brian Simoes, and Mark Simoes. She was also the sister of the late John Simoes and aunt of the late Jordan Simoes. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, June 8, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal in St. Patrick Cemetery.
