Gloria Camara, 91 of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Friday. She was the widow of John Camara. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frank A. & Maria (Simoes) Machado. Gloria was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality, Women's Guild and the Our Lady of Grace Senior Club. A faithful Red Sox fan, she also loved playing "search the word" games. Survivors include daughters, Gerri Tschirgi (husband – Victor) of Austin, TX and Deborah Hudon (husband – Henri) of Fall River; grandchildren, Scott Cooley (wife – Bridget), Lauren Murdock (husband – Joseph) and Brian Hudon; great grandchildren, Hannah and Noah Cooley; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Georgiana Lewis, Minnie Tenchara, Mary Raposa, Mariana Farias, Lucy Alves, and August, Gilbert, John, Joseph, Manuel, Frank & William Machado. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 26, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
