Gloria A. Combs, 75, of Fall River, formerly of Swansea, wife of Walter F. Combs, passed away peacefully at Crawford Nursing Home on September 11, 2019. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Louis L. and Alice G. (Duchaine) Pereira. Prior to her retirement she was a school bus driver for Tremblay Bus Company. A true homebody, Gloria loved cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed trips to New Hampshire and had a strong affection for animals, especially dogs. Besides her husband of thirty-one years, she leaves: her son, James L. Wool and his wife, Dawn, of Fall River; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, David Pereira and Thomas Pereira; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Richard L. Pereira and Louis L. Pereira, Jr. Her Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., Fall River, from 6-8 PM.
