Gloria Petrasso, 79, of Westport, passed away September 26, at home surrounded by her family. Wife of Alphonso Petrasso to whom she was married to for 57 years. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Costello) Vital. She was a retired machine operator in the textile industry. Beloved mother of Alphonso Petrasso, Jr. (wife-Maryann) of Fall River, Ann Lewis (husband-Sean) of Tiverton, Thomas Petrasso of Swansea and the late Joseph Petrasso; grandmother of Keith Harrop, Jr. of Newport, Christopher Harrop (wife-Suzy) of Portsmouth and Amanda Reis (husband-Nelson) of Fall River; great grandmother of Tanyon and Brayden Reis; sister of the late Mary Costa, Delia Pacheco and Antone Vital. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her funeral was private.
