Guilherme "Billy" "Belina" Medeiros, 85, of Tiverton, RI passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 18. He was the husband of the late Maria Margarida (DaSilva) Medeiros. Born in St. Antonio Alem Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao and Maria de Lourdes (Botelho) Medeiros. For many years, he owned and operated the Casa Vitoria on Shove St. in Tiverton. Billy loved fishing, gardening, making wine and greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great granchildren. Survived by his children, John Medeiros of Westport, Gabriel Medeiros of Cumberland, RI, Margaret Cabral and her husband, Venancio, of Tiverton, Natalie Simoes and her husband, Luis, of Fall River, Antone Medeiros of Fall River, Rose Pedro and her husband, Ronald, of Tiverton, RI, Christine Tripp and her husband, Jody of Tiverton, RI and Patricia Frezza of Westport; siblings, Maria Furtado of Toronto, Canada and Raul Botelho of Somerset; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also great grandfather of the late Xaviah and brother of the late Duarte Medeiros, Jose Medeiros, Antonio Medeiros, Joao Medeiros, Alfredo Botelho, Maria Elana Vasconcellos, Arthur Medeiros and Fernando Botelho. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July 27th, in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
