Guilherme Guiomar Viveiros, 75, of Fall River, husband of Gilda C. Viveiros, passed away Wednesday 5/15/13 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose G. & Maria do Carmo (Guiomar) Viveiros, he emigrated to Fall River in 1967. He worked in the local construction industry for over 30 years, retiring in 2000, and was a member of Laborer's Union Local 610. Playing tuba was his greatest passion, enjoying membership in various bands, including Our Lady of the Rosary, E. Providence, for many years. Besides his wife, he leaves: 3 children, Joseph M. Viveiros of Fall River, William G. Viveiros of Willington, CT, Suzanna V. Baptista of Fairhaven; 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle, Preston, Julianne & Cole Viveiros; 1 great grandson, Aaron Joseph; several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Jose deViveiros, Gabriel, Afonso, Maria do Santo Christo & Maria da Conceicao Viveiros. His funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 20, 2013 in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
