Heather Guy, 51, of Warsaw, Virginia, formerly of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully following a long illness on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Patricia (Lima) Gilbert and the late Donald Cote. She was also the stepdaughter of Thomas Gilbert.

Prior to her passing, she worked as a caretaker in various group homes for many years. She loved children, animals, the beach, and trips to the casino. She was a very thrifty woman, always loved a bargain, and had a keen knack for "stretching a buck". Most notably, Heather was extraordinarily empathetic and caring, especially when it came to those who were disabled and handicapped.

She is survived by her children, Daniel John Botelho, of Montross, Virginia and Cyerah Lee Vieira and her husband, Erik, of Fall River; her brother Peter Cote, of Warsaw, Virginia; and her niece, Alexeya Almarawi.

Her Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, October 29th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery also in Fall River.
