Heidi M. Furtado, 43, of Fall River, widow of Michael Furtado, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Charlton Memorial Hosp after lengthy heart trouble. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Richard M. Carreiro and the late Sandra L. (Faria) Carreiro, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant for about fifteen years, employed at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home, before retiring early due to disability some years ago.

Surviving her are: two brothers, Michael Carreiro and Marc J. Carreiro both of Fall River; two nephews, Michael J. Carreiro and Cody D. Carreiro both of Fall River; and a niece, Samatha P. Carreiro of Fall River.

Private cremation arrangements were with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
