Helder D. Raposo, 49, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Francisco and Diamantina (Ferreira) Raposo. He came to Fall River in 1968. A construction laborer, he was a member of the local laborer's union for many years. Helder was the beloved father of Adam and Lauren Raposo; brother of Natalia Melo, Lurdes Sousa, Maria Do Ceu Silva and Manuel Raposo. He also leaves nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church on Monday, August 2, followed by a committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery. Helder's pallbearers were his son, Adam, along with Blake DeMelo, Tony and Troy Fernandes, Arnold Souza, and Luis Melo.
