Helen M. (Pereira) Boudreau, 49, of Fall River, wife of Peter A. Boudreau, died at Catholic Memorial Home on Friday Oct. 24, 2008 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Antonio C. & Maria Vidalia (Reis) Pereira, she emigrated to Fall River in 1967 and was a Class of '77 BMC Durfee graduate. Mrs. Boudreau worked in various management positions over a 30 year period at several local area jewelry companies, including Catamore, Lebow and Danecraft. An active parishioner, she was on the St. Michael School Advisory Board and often volunteered at the St. Michael's feast and soup kitchen. What Helen really loved in life was spending time with family and traveling to the Azores. Besides her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Cassandra E. of Fall River; 5 brothers, Francisco F. & Mario J. Pereira both of Fall River, John D. & Louis A. Pereira both of Berkley, Joseph A. Pereira of Norfolk, VA; many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Maria Manuela Pereira. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Michael Church. Pallbearers Frank and Marco Pereira, David Feaster, Edmond Baptista, Paul Miquel and Richard Melo brought Helen to her final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
