Henrique Cabral, 75, of Fall River, husband of Emiliana (Oliveira) Cabral, died of lung cancer, on lung cancer awareness day, Monday, August 1, 2016, at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Bretanha, on the isle of St. Michael, in the Azores, son of the late Manuel & Maria dos Anjos (Faria) Cabral, he emigrated to Fall River in 1970, and worked as a laborer in the local construction industry for many years.
Besides his wife, of 49 years, he leaves: 2 daughters, Odesia Melo (husband Jeffrey) of Fall River and Elizabeth Alves (husband Ernesto) of Florida; 3 siblings, Zelia Arruda of Fall River, Jose Cabral & Maria Arruda both of St. Michael, Azores; 5 grandchildren, Clarisa, Jenna, Alex, Phillip, and Savannah; many nieces & nephews. He was also a brother of the late Januario Cabral & Manual Cabral.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 4th, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at at Notre Dame Cemetery.
