Obituary

Henry M. Hanoud, 94, of Fall River, husband of the late Eva (Mirza) Hanoud, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at the Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Monsour Hanoud and the late Elizabeth (Nassiff) Hanoud.

He worked as a die-cut operator at J. & J. Corrugated for 37 years until retiring, and had worked as a naval shipyard welder prior to that. He was also a civilian truck driver with the former Miles Standish Motor Pool during World War II. He enjoyed travelling with his wife in their RV and was a member of the Family Coach Association.

He is survived by: three sons, Monsour Hanoud (wife Antoinette) of Berkley, Paul Hanoud (wife Nancy) of Rehoboth, and Jeffrey Hanoud (companion Coreen Cardoza) of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Derek, Marc, Joshua, Leah, Chad, and Jeffrey Jr.; three great grandchildren, Draeson, Finbar, and Kenslee; and several nieces & nephews. He was also the brother of the late Annie Hanoud.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, September 17th, in St Anthony of the Desert Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
