Henry J. Reis, 83, of Fall River, husband of Claire (Cote) Reis, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Catholic Memorial Home after a long illness. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Joaquim Reis and the late Maria (Rodriques) Cruz.

Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Reis Construction, a business that helped shape Fall River to the town it is today. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and will be remembered for his gentleness and humor. Henry will be missed and will live in the hearts of his family forever.

Besides his loving wife of sixty-four years, he leaves: his three children, Debra Guimond and her husband, Michael, of Bedford, New Hampshire, Michael Reis, and Patricia Chabot (late husband, Paul Copely), both of Fall River; his six grandchildren, Naomi Paradise, Nigel Guimond, Lindsay Barbosa, Kyle Chabot, Marissa Chabot, and Hunter Reis; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Edith "Cookie" Courville and her husband, Ronald "Ronny"; and several nieces and nephews.

Following his cremation, a private service was held on Saturday, February 27th, in our Fall River Chapel.
