Henry V. Rodrigues, 88, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Fall River Jewish Home. Born in St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Antonio Pavao Rodrigues and the late Maria Mauricio Cordeiro, he moved to Brazil in 1947, then emigrated to Fall River in 1963.

A design executive in the textile industry for many years, he worked at Abdow, Ansonia Mills of Taunton, and Providence Pile, and had also been self-employed for a short time. Henry enjoyed traveling and was faithfully devoted to Our Lady.

He is survived by: five children, David, Henry, Sandra, and Fernando Rodrigues all of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Alex Beara Rodrigues of Orlando, FL; wife, Anica Beara of Florida; a sister, Leonilda Gomes of Fall River; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Henry was also a brother of the late Evaristo Pavao, Antonio Pavao Rodrigues, Joseph Rodrigues, and Maria Sousa.

Special thanks go out to his caregivers: sister-in-law, Karyn Rodrigues of Fall River; niece, Odette Van Marter of Connecticut; niece, Maria L. Sousa of Fall River; and cousin, Richard Medeiros of Fall River.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
