Hermano P. Miranda, 86, of Fall River, died Saturday, 10/24/09, at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Remedios da Bretanha, St Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel P. & Maria Rosa Miranda, he lived in Brazil for 28 years, then moved to Fall River in 1986. An employee at Santoro Mfg. for 9 years, he was also a member of the Holy Name Society of Espirito Santo Parish. He leaves: a brother, Diniz P. Miranda of Westport; and several nieces & nephews. He was also brother of the late Manuel P, Antonio P, Jose P, Joao P, Francisco P & Maria dos Anjos Miranda, Margarida Arruda and Maria Machado. Friends and family gathered on Wednesday 10/28/09 for a funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church. Later, pallbearers Roy Bento, Jeffrey Machado, Jason Machado, Timothy Cabral, Gary Machado, and Mathew Rosario brought Hermano to his final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
