Hilda Ferreira's Obituary
Hilda (Resendes) Ferreira passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 in Catholic Memorial Home at the age of 80. She was the widow Eugene Ferreira. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, Hilda was a daughter of the late John and Maria (Carellas) Rezendes. She worked for many years as a button hole operator at Shellburne Shirt and then at Charlton Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper. She is survived by her son David Ferreira and his wife Sandra of Largo, Florida, granddaughters Krystal, Ashley, Kayla and grandson Clinton and several nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul J. Ferreira and was the sister of the late Manuel, Louis, David, Joe and Maria Resendes. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on
Wednesday, April 12th,
in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by her committal at
Notre Dame Cemetery.
