Hilda St. Louis, 73, of Fall River, wife of Albert St. Louis, peacefully passed away Sunday 2/24/13 after a long illness at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel A. & Hilda (Carvalho) Silvia, she graduated from BMC Durfee High School and attended Bridgewater State College. A homemaker for many years, she so enjoyed keeping house and raising a family; and she always had a strong faith. After the kids were grown she worked in the local garment industry for many years. Among her interests she enjoyed dancing, but mostly gained pleasure from making others happy. Besides her husband, she leaves: 4 children, Evelyn Andrade, Linda Rodriques & Paul St. Louis (wife Humberta) all of Fall River, and Donna Pimental (husband Kenneth) of Fairhaven; 2 sisters, Irene Mello of Swansea and Pauline Silvia of Fall River; 10 grandchildren, Jamie, Brittany, Courtney, Kenneth, Matthew, Tyler, Mandi, Katelyn, Victoria & Michael; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, February 28, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
