Hilda C. Oliveira, 94, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Manuel Tavares Oliveira. Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel and Rosa de Jesus Felix. Mrs. Oliveira was the loving mother of, Liberal Oliveira (Owner of Oliveira Imports Furniture in Fall River) and his wife Matilde of Somerset, the late Duarte M. Oliveira and Fatima Moniz of Fall River; mother-in-law of Ilda Oliveira of Fall River. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Ann Duckworth and her husband Tom, Richard Oliveira and his wife Elizabeth, Sandy Duarte and her husband Fernando, Mark Oliveira and his wife Diane, Noel Moniz and his wife Hilda and Kevin Oliveira; great grandchildren, Ashley Cookson and her husband Jon, Lindsey Duckworth, Sabrina Oliveira, Marissa Oliveira, Jaden Oliveira, Sarah Moniz, Josh Moniz and Sophia Duarte; great great grandchildren, Owen Cookson, Payton Sousa Duckworth and Madden Cookson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel Felix, Serafina Felix and Maria de Estrela Cordeiro. Her FuneralMass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 8th, in Santo Christo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
