Hilda E. Watts, 97, of Fall River, former wife of the late Peter J. Watts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021 after a long illness.   Born in Westport, she was the daughter of the late John Pacheco and the late Mary Pacheco.

She loved gardening, cooking, baking, and dining out on her favorite seafood. Hilda also enjoyed yard saleing  collecting knick-knacks and vintage spoons, crossword puzzles, and, in her younger days, playing the harmonica.

She leaves: her loving children, Paul Pedrosa and his wife, Leslie, of Idaho, Mark Watts of Brockton, Tommy Stevens of Florida, Robyn LaPlante, Jeffrey Pedrosa and his wife, Pam, Peter Watts, and Russel Watts and his wife, Ana, all of Fall River; twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Linda Watts, David Pedrosa, and Raul Pedrosa and sister of the late John Pacheco and Irene Pacheco.

Due to the COVID pandemic, Hilda was laid to rest on Friday, January 15th, with a private committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery here in Fall River.
