Horace Ferris, 82, of Delaware Ave., Somerset, died peacefully at home on Sunday. He was the husband of Anna L. (Mollicone) Ferris. Born in Providence, RI, son of the late John & Rose (Kassab) Ferris. A Somerset resident for 38 years, he operated both the Somerset Bowl Away and the Empire Bowling Alley in Fall River. He was a parishioner of St Anthony of the Desert Church and belonged to the Lebanese-American Society. Survivors include daughters, Sandra Rheaume and Ann Marie Peckham, both of Fall River, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Chorbishop Norman J. Ferris, Monsour Ferris, Ferris J. Ferris, Clara Pontes, Sadie Francis and Anna "Vicki" Catalan. His Funeral Mass was offered on Friday (10/3) in St Anthony of the Desert Church. Committal services followed at St. Patrick Cemetery. His pallbearers were Ronald and Ryan Rheaume, Andy Richards, Jeremy and Dane Ouellette and Monte Ferris.
