Horacio M. Cabral

   Horacio M. Cabral, 72, of Fall River, husband of the late Maria (Verissimo) Cabral, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at St. Anne’s Hospital.  Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel De Lima and the late Irondina (Cordeiro) De Lima, he emigrated to Fall River in 1977.

   Employed in the local textile industry, and as an electrician, for many years before retiring, Horacio was a member of Fall River Sports and Banda Filarmonica Santa Cecilia.

   He is survived by two siblings, David De Lima (wife Manuela) of Portugal, and Fatima Tadeu (husband Charlie) of Fall River.  He also leaves many nieces and nephews.  Horacio was predeceased by two brothers, Silvino De Lima and Leonardo De Lima.

   Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Calling Hours to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Private Cremation will follow.
