Ines Oliveira, 81, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday. She was the wife of Duarte Oliveira, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Sao Braz, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Alfredo & Maria Olivia (Moniz) Botelho. A devout catholic, she loved praying the rosary, sitting in the garden and reading. Survivors include sons, Jose Oliveira and Domingos Oliveira, both of Fall River; a daughter, Ana I. Moreira (husband - John) of Fall River; brothers, Domingos B. Almeida of Brampton, Ontario, Canada and Joaquim Almeida of Sao Braz, St. Michael, Azores; sisters, Lucilia Melo and Teresa Bento, both of Sao Braz, and Aldina Cordeiro of Fall River; granddaughters, Carina Moreira and Veronica Moreira; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Maria Tavares and Jose Almeida Moniz. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
