Ines R. Vieira, 58, of Fall River, wife of Daniel R. Vieira, died Thursday 2/19/16 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Rabo de Peixe, St Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Antonio T. and Ines R. (Cordeiro) Couto, she emigrated to Fall River in 1975. Employed in the local textile industry, she worked at Whaling Mfg for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, she leaves: 3 children, Peter C. Vieira (wife Kandace) of Somerset, Daniel C. Vieira (wife Diane) and Ines Medeiros (husband Peter) both of Fall River; 2 brothers, Jose and Tony Couto both of Fall River; 4 grandchildren, Laken, Nezy, Peter V. and P.J.; several nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 23rd, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
