Inez (Rapoza) Majcher, 87, of Fall River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the former wife of the late Arthur S. Mello and Louis Majcher. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Georgianna (Machado) Rapoza.
Inez was employed with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fall River at the Priest Hostel for 20 years, retiring in 2010 and was previously employed with Stop & Shop Co. for 17 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed Ballroom Dancing.

She was the beloved mother of Stephen A. Mello and his wife Carol of Portsmouth and Louis Majcher of Fall River. Loving Nana of Stephen A. Mello, Jr., Stephanie A. Casey and her husband Stephen and Jennifer L. Cook and her husband Bryan. Cherished great grandmother of Kamryn, Isabelle, Abigail, Samantha, Sierra and Merrick. Caring aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Rapoza, Frank "Skippy" Rapoza, Mary Franco, Hilda Cabral, Adeline Cerce, Elsie "Ginger" DuBanevich and Beatrice Coulombe.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in St. Joseph Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
