Inez " Agnes" Medeiros, 88, formerly of Pitman St., passed away Wednesday after a short illness. Daughter of the late John and Mariana Medeiros to whom Agnes devoted her life taking care of. A textile worker, she had worked at the former Tioga Sportswear and Jenson Mfg. Co. A lifelong active parishioner at Espirito Santo Church, she not only attended their school but started their CYO program and, over the years, continued to be involved with teenage dances and their many fundraisers. She was also a CCD teacher for 38 years. Miss Medeiros is survived by 5 siblings, Lea Gomes, Mary Arruda and John Medeiros all of Fall River, Frank Medeiros of No. Dartmouth and Joseph Medeiros of Northfield, and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
