Irene Grace Dillon, 98, of Westport, passed away at home on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph Lemar and the late Delphine (Andrews) Lemar, she resided in Westport most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked for a number of years in the local garment industry, at the former Stella Ann Frocks, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union ("ILGWU" now called UNITE).

A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on No. Eastern Ave. in Fall River, Irene loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by: a daughter, Donna Zitano of New Bedford; four grandchildren, Kim Benevides, Wendy Pimental, Eric Benevides, and Ashley Zitano; eight great grandchildren, Jason Bernardo, Todd Bernardo, Casey Bernardo, Timothy Medeiros, Lexus Robinson, Morgan Benevides, Madison Benevides, and Benjamin Hontz; seven great great grandchildren, Saige, Quentin, Triniti, Jason Michael Jr., Khyla, Aaliyah, and Camden. Irene was predeceased by her four siblings: Eleanor Lefebvre, Joseph Lemar, Belmira "Belle" Dastous, and Louise Davis.

Private Cremation Arrangements were with the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes.
