Irene Howell, 80, of 556 So. Main St., passed away on November 5, 2008 after a long illness. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel P. and Mary (Farias) Aguiar. A retired textile worker, among the shops she had worked were Anderson Little and Darwood Mfg. She was mother of Kathy Carter formerly Morrell (husband Rick); grandmother of Nathan, Jason and Jeffrey Morrell, sister of George P. Aguiar (wife Lorraine). She also leaves several aunts, uncles, a niece and a nephew. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers were Jeff Morrell, Michael Medeiros and George Aguiar.
