Irene (Medeiros) McFeeley, 96, of Boston, formerly of Fall River, passed away on Monday after an extended illness. Widow of John P. McFeeley. Born in Vermont, daughter of the late Joseph P. & Adelina (Pacheco) Medeiros. For 30 years, she owned and operated Irene's Beauty Salon out of her home in Boston. She loved to sew, knit and cook, but above all she was devoted to her family and was a very independent woman who became an inspiration to everyone she met. Survivors include a son, John J. McFeeley, (wife Nancy), of Norwood; daughters, Cecilia A. McFeeley of Westwood and Marlene J. DeCuir, (husband Phil), of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren, Karen, Heather, Jessica, Alison & Ashley; great grandchildren, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Billy & John; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Beatrice Carreiro, Mary Mello, Adeline Almeida, Ernest P., Manuel P., Joseph P. and Adelino P. Medeiros. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her committal service was held at St. Patrick Cemetery.
