Irene Paquin, 84, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, November 3. Widow of Leo X. Paquin. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone P. & Teresa (Cabral) Soares. Beloved mother of Jay Joseph Paquin of Somerset and the late Gary William Paquin; sister of Alice Lindo of Fall River and the late Manuel "Spuds" Soares, William P. Soares, Edward Soares, Mary P. Souza, Olive Martin, Isabel Guay and Deolinda Souza; grandmother of Garth Paquin and Emma Paquin. Cremation was private. Her Memorial Mass was offered on Friday, November 12, St. Patrick Church in Somerset. Her cremains were interred at Newport Memorial Park in Middletown, RI. Donations in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38105.
