Irene (Lima Viveiros) Sousa, 96, of Fall River, passed away Thursday at Kimwell Nursing Home. Widow of Joseph deAlmeida Sousa. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jose and Mariana (Martins) Lima Viveiros, she was a seamstress at the former M&G Sportswear for many years. Beloved mother of Manuel V. (wife-the late Maria I.) and Chester V. Souisa, Albert Sousa, Sr. and the late Joseph V. and Maria I. Sousa; grandmother of Albert (Jr.), Paul, Kimberly, Melissa, Jason and Jeremy Sousa and the late Joshua Sousa; sister of Albertina Pimentel, John and Jose Viveiros and the late Manuel Viveiros, Francelina Sousa and Maria Conceicao Torres. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Lydia Sousa, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 13th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
