Irondina Freitas, 89, of Fall River, passed away Sunday at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Jorge Freitas. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao Moniz Falcao. Irondina is survived by her son, John Freitas and his wife Mary Rose of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Brian Freitas and his wife Rosa of North Carolina, Brenda Silva and her fiance John Sineiro of Fall River, and John Freitas, Jr. of Fall River and four great grandchildren; Alexia Silva, Samantha Freitas, Kendra Manzo, and Michael Freitas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 3rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
