Isabel C. Furna, 85, formerly of Healy St., passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Widow of Jaime Furna. Born in Ribeira Seca, Ribeira Grande, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jacinto and Aldina (Cabral) Soares Pereira, she was the last of their eight children. Isabel is survived by her children, Antonio Furna (wife – Fatima), Maria Pinheiro (husband – Ed), Helen Cabral (husband – Tony) and Joe Furna; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
