Isabel M. Papa, 85, of Rehoboth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Catholic Memorial Home on Wednesday August 3. She was the widow of Louis Papa. Isabel was the first baby to be born at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late Flavius & Georginna (Cabral) Reed. A very active parishioner of St. Dominic Church in Swansea, she enjoyed taking part in their Garden Club. She was also a member of the ProLife Committee and the MCFL Chapter of Greater Fall River. Survivors include her children, Timothy Papa of Rehoboth, Jennifer Moore of Seekonk, Felix Papa of Rehoboth and Lisa DaCosta of Rehoboth; a brother, Raymond Reed of Rehoboth and her late sister, Mary Farrell. She also leaves grandchildren, Stephanie Moore, Ethan Moore, Kollin DaCosta and a granddaughter (Isabella) on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Following her cremation, her Memorial Mass was celebrated Friday , August 12th, in St. Dominic Church, Swansea, followed by the committal and interment of her ashes at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, RI
