Isabel  Pereira ,77, of Fall River passed away on Monday after a long illness. She was the wife of Edgardo Pereira. Born in St.Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel daCosta Lopes and Isabel Cabral. Isabel was a retired examiner in the  local textile industry . She had a very strong affection for animals. Isabel also enjoyed watching the Spanish Channel, particularly the comedians and the soap operas. But most of all she loved being together with her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her five children; Guida Tavares (husband-Walter) of Somerset, Edgardo M. Pereira (wife-Maria), Moses L. Pereira (wife-Maria), Jose I. Pereira (wife- Marilia) and Valter A. Pereira (fiancé-Cristina) all of Fall River. Isabel also leaves 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel daCosta Lopes and Daniel daCosta Lopes. Her Funeral Maas was celebrated on Saturday, October 22nd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
