Isidore C. Andrade, 92, of Somerset, passed away on January 2, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Husband of the late Mary (Correia) Andrade. Born in Fall River, son of the late Manuel and Frances (Rego Costa) Andrade. A Navy Veteran of WW II, he owned the former IC Andrade Trucking Co. for several years. He then went on to retire from the Newport Naval Base. He was father of Sharon Johnson, Mary Rolfs, Thomas and Robert C. Andrade and Judith Rocha; grandfather of Matthew, Emily and Daniel Johnson, Jennifer Rolfs, Jacob and Zachary Laflamme and Michael Andrade. Brother of Minnie Chambers and the late Charles, Noah and Gabriel Andrade, Lena McKenna and Tillie Simas. He also leaves 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John of God Church. Pallbearers were Matthew and Daniel Johnson, Jacob, Zacary and Jerry Laflamme and Frank Santos. His committal service with military honors was conducted at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
