Obituary

Isidro Pimentel Teixeira, 64, of Fall River and husband of Mary Ann (Valero) Teixeira, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the comforts of his home on Sunday evening, July 18, 2021 after a long illness. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of Josefa (Carreiro) Teixeira and the late Gabriel Teixeira.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for the City of Fall River in the Parks Division for many years. An avid Yankees fan, he also loved golfing, cruises, and traveling to Canada to visit family. He was also a long-time member of Amvets and a very "accomplished" pool player. But what was most important to Isidro was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his loving wife of forty-three years, he leaves: his children, Jillian Marie Teixeira and her long-time companion, Jacob Marshall, of Dartmouth, Eric D. Teixeira and his wife, Sandy, of Fall River, and Jarod H. Teixeira and his wife, Ashley, of Fairhaven; his seven grandchildren, Shyla Teixeira, Dominic T. Medeiros, Aiden T. Medeiros, Autumn Marie Medeiros, Dylan Teixeira, Jacob Teixeira, and Willow Lennie Teixeira; brothers, Laudalino Teixeira (late wife, Evelyn) and Joseph Teixeira and his long-time companion, Patricia Guay, both of Fall River; a sisters, Honorina Teixeira and Rosa Paquette, both of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Gabriela Ostheimer.

His Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 22nd, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel. His private cremation followed.
