Ivo M. Vieira, 32, of Somerset, husband of E. Paula (Santos) Vieira, died Monday, March 7th, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Manuel & Maria D. (Reis) Vieira. Employed as a computer numerical control machinist / programmer at A & A Precision Machine of Fall River, he also served honorably in the US Army and Army Reserves during the Iraq War, and had attained the rank of Sergeant. He was known as a person who really enjoyed helping others. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves: 2 children, Selena & Ava Vieira; a sister, Sandra Vieira; 2 half-sisters, Elizabeth & Sally Vieira; his maternal grandmother, Maria (Rodrigues) Reis; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt & uncles. His Funeral Service was held on Friday, March 11th, in the Seventh Day Adventist Church follwed by a commital service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
