Ivone (Da Silva) Silva, 87, of Fall River, wife of Rogerio Silva, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Catholic Memorial Home following a long illness. Born in Faial, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Epifanio Bettencourt Da Silva and the late Maria Soares.

Prior to her retirement she worked for American Tourist as an assembler for many years. She loved cooking, sewing, crocheting, baking cakes and decorating them. Ivone also enjoyed raising all her grandchildren and spending quality time with all of her family.

Besides her husband of seventy years, she leaves her loving children, Victor Da Silva and his wife, Ni, Martha Bettencourt and her husband, Joseph, both of Fall River, and Maria Bettencourt and her husband, Simon Cueter, of Palm Coast, Florida; her seven grandchildren, Bruno, Stephanie, SueAnn, Bryan, Matthew, Kristin, and Nicole; nine great-grandchildren; a nephew, Rui Silva, and several nieces and nephews on her husband's side. She was also the sister of the late Gilberto Da Silva, Jose Da Silva, and Maria do Ceu.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
