Jacintho 'Jesse' M. Sardinha, age 79, passed away peacefully at home in Clermont FL on Friday, May 20, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Maria M. (Mini) Sardinha. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel Sardinha and the late Margaret (Costa) Sardinha. A resident of Fall River for many years and Clermont since 2002, he was employed as a furnace operator for many years at Texas Instruments and retired from there in 1998. Jesse was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Clermont FL and was an avid "old fashion" car enthusiast. In his passing, he leaves behind his loved family members including, two daughters; Lisa Carroll and Linda Carreiro; two sons Greg Sardinha and Frederick Gallardo, two sisters Gloria Amaral and Peggy Henault; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Manuel Sardinha Jr., Henry Sardinha, Frank Sardinha, Edward Sardinha and Mary Branco. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, May 28th, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
