Jacinto Valentim, 92, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday. He was the Husband of Maria (Bonanca) Valentim, with whom they shared 67 years of marriage. Born in St. Michael, Azores, a son to the late Jacinto and Maria Rosa (Cabral). Beloved father of Joao (wife–Iria) and Artur (wife-Julie) Valentim both of Fall River, and Aldina Pimentel (husband-Carlos) of Somerset. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren; Michael, John, David, and Arthur Valentim, Kathy Francisco, Stephanie McCafferty, Patricia, Elizabeth, and Matthew Pimentel. Five great grandchildren; Briana, Michaela, and Aubrey Valentim, Aiden McCafferty, and Aria Francisco; and several nieces and nephews. Jacinto loved sports and fishing, most notably soccer. He had a passion for gardening. He was also the brother of the late Maria Costa, Antonio and Liberal Valentim. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on on Saturday, April 16th, in Santo Christo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
