James Leandro, 88, formerly of Barre St., passed away on November 8, 2008 after a long illness. Born in Fall River, son of the late Manuel and Rose (Mello) Leandro. Served his country in WWII. Worked for General Motors in Framingham for many years. He was father of Martin Leandro and Scott Leandro (his wife Diane). James was one of eleven children and leaves a legacy of eight grandchildren. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Notre Dame Church. Charles Cambra, Richard Partain, Samuel Hancock, Ryan Picket, Michael DePaulitto and George Grannis were pallbearers. Entombment Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
