James V. Rogers, 65, of Fall River, husband of Maria Teresa (Antunes) Rogers, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Mary (Vincent) Rogers of Tiverton RI, and the late Sylvester Rogers.

He was employed with Johnson & Johnson of Raynham for 34 years. James was a sports fan, especially baseball and football. He also enjoyed music and cars, but most of all spending time with family.

Besides his wife, of 39 years, he is survived by: a daughter, Ashley Rogers Wheet (Carson) of Needham; three siblings, Cynthia Costa (Michael) of Dartmouth, Douglas Rogers (Cindy St. Pierre) of Swansea, and Suzanne Almeida (John) of Westport; a granddaughter, Catia; and several nieces and nephews. James was also a brother of the late David Rogers.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, September 23rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
