James Correia, better known as "Jimmy Santos", 79, of Fall River, passed away Thursday accidentally. Husband of Frances (Hebda) Correia to whom he was married for 58 years. Born in Fall River, son of the late August and Guilhermina Santos. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. At the age of 15 he went to work at his father's business, Santos Trucking, which he has owned for the last 40 years. Beloved father of Pamela Rivers, Cheryl Pacheco (husband-Robert) and Doreen Silvia (husband-Wayne); grandfather of Scott, Angel and Jennifer Pacheco, John (Jr.) and Kristen Rivers, Wayne, (Jr.) and Ashley Silvia; great grandfather of Ian and Aiva DiRosa; brother of Victoria Rosa and the late August Santos. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, April 14 in St. Theresa's Church, Tiverton followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
