Januario M. Rocha, 70, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Husband of Geraldina (Gouveia) Rocha, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Faja de Cima, Sao Miguel, Azores, son of the late Manuel & Conceicao (Medeiros) Rocha. A parishioner of Espirito Santo Church and member of its Holy Name Society, he also belonged to the Our Lady of Light Band Club. Survivors include his daughters, Maria Pacheco (companion - Kevin Croteau) of Fall River, Connie Medeiros (husband - Peter) of Tiverton, RI and Anna Gonsalves (husband - Tony) of Dartmouth; a son, Steve Rocha (companion - Brooke Gomes) of New Bedford; grandchildren, Joshua, Tayla, Hailey, Aaron, Dylan, Connor, Devin and Jackson; great grandson, Kayden; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Joao and Tony Rocha. His Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, March 8, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
