Jason Louis Moniz, 48, of Fall River, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Brighams and Womans's Hospital in Boston. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Sandra (Goncalo) Cusson (husband, Robert) and the late Arthur Moniz.

An avid sports fan, especially of basketball, he also loved the New England Patriots, the Red Sox, and the Celtics. Always willing to give a "helping hand", he also enjoyed making people laugh. Jason also loved listening to the legendary music of the Bee Gees. But what was most important to Jason was spending quality time with all his family.

Besides his mother, he leaves: his three children, Ashley M. Moniz of Centerville, MA, Eva M. Moniz of Fall River, and Justin J. Moniz of Tiverton, Rhode Island; his three grandchildren, Gabriel Baez, Analea Pasaska, and Adeline Moniz; his two brothers, Romeo Marchand and Paul Chasse, both of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Jason Moniz, Jr. and brother of the late Arthur Chasse, Eva Goncalo, Christopher Moniz, and Lisa Moniz.

A visitation period was held on Monday evening, October 18th, in our Fall River Chapel. A private cremation followed.
